South African electronic artist David Scott, better known by his stage name The Kiffness, has recently welcomed a baby into the world!

The baby boy, named Sam Scott, was welcomed into the world on 8 January 2022.

"Witnessing the birth of my baby boy is the wildest, most beautiful and proudest moment of my life," said the new father in a recent Instagram post.

'Out of all the collabs... this one is my favourite'

The musician, well-known for his collaborations, satirical artistry and amazing use of interesting sounds from all over the world, says he and his wife, Jüte Scott, are "beyond blessed" and already excited to be parents of their little one.

"We love you our beautiful boy! Out of all the collabs your daddy has done, this one with your mommy is by far my favourite," says the new dad.

The talented artist has already started to incorporate the new arrival in his live looping mashups by featuring the heartbeat of baby Sam only 12 weeks in utero.

Mom Jüte proudly shared the musical moment, writing: "My incredibly talented husband captured our baby's heartbeat at our first ultrasound, and turned it into a song!"

Hopefully, we can expect exciting and adorable live looping sessions featuring the new arrival soon.
