
Nearly one in three women have been abused in their lifetime, according to the United Nations (UN) Women entity.
So from 25 November to 10 December, the nation will be observing 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
In line with the 16 Days of Activism, the Web Rangers programme will be hosting online training webinars to equip parents and carers with vital digital literacy skills to help their children become active digital citizens.

How do I protect my child from online violence?
To protect children from online violence, parents and carers will first need to be better positioned to help children navigate the online world.
This webinar, which is split into 3 modules, aims to give parents the tools to protect their children even after the 16 Days of Activism campaign.
The first module will cover digital citizenship as well as guidance as to how to build a good digital footprint.
The following module will cover cyber ills, with a special focus on online scams, sexting and other ways to protect your children and finally, the third module with be covering safety products in detail.
