Vanessa Lynch wanted to make sure that her new stepson Henry knew how much she appreciated him as part of the family on her wedding day.
So after she had made her vows to his father, Craig, she started speaking to him, and the heart-warming moment went viral.

"I know I wasn't there the day you came into the world. I wasn't there for your first steps or your first words, but I promise I will be there for many more of your firsts," she said during her emotional speech.
Of the reason for her making the sweet promise to her stepson, Vanessa says that she wanted to make sure Henry knew she "wasn't just going to be a woman his dad was married to".
