"I'm so confused," a fan commented on one of Britney Spears' latest Instagram post paying tribute to her younger sister, Jamie Lynn, while another wondered who was really "controlling" her account.
The singer captioned the photos of Jamie, shared on her 41st birthday: "It's my b-day but you're my heart so I'm thinking about you ... congratulations on being so brave, inspiring, and showing guts and glory in your show !!! You ain't alone ... if anybody knows what that feels like ... I get it ... My baby sister !!! I love you !!! [sic]"
The confusion stems from the singer's public feud with her younger sister – which included a cease-and-desist letter following Jamie's tell-all book.
The singer also shared how husband Sam Asghari spoilt her on her birthday while she battled the flu – she later removed the post - and gave a special shoutout to her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, which she shares with Kevin Federline, who she's also been publicly feuding with.
"Britney are you even free?" one fan asked as she wrote: "To both of my boys … I love you … I would die for you !!!"
She concluded: "God speed my precious hearts !!! I would give anything just to touch your face !!! I send my love … Mamasita."
