How often do you bathe? And how often do you bathe your kids? Because Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' recent confession during Dax Shepard and Monica Padman's Armchair Expert podcast has spurred debate.
"You should not be getting rid of all the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day," Dax Shepard explained during the episode, later adding wife Kristen Bell only bathed their kids as part of a nighttime routine when they were born. "We could care less about their cleanliness," he joked. "We haven't washed them since. It's been like six years."
The That 70s Show stars share the same sentiments with the couple. "I don't wash my body with soap every day," the Black Swan actor said. "But I wash pits and tits and holes and soles." Ashton Kutcher said he too only washes "armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever".
When it comes to their kids, Mila could relate to Dax and Kristen's parenting approach: "That's how we feel about our children. We're like, 'Oof, something smells.'"
Her husband chimed in: "Here's the thing: if you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em. Otherwise, there's no point."
