Britney Spears deactivated her Instagram account last week, reassuring fans when she explained she simply wanted to enjoy her engagement.
Earlier this month, the singer's longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, proposed, shortly after a win for Britney in her legal battle after her father stepped down and filed to end her 14-year-long conservatorship.
"Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my ... holy shit ... FIANCÉ ... I still can't believe it !!!! [sic]" the singer wrote on Instagram on Monday, alongside two photos.
"I couldn't stay away from the gram too long so I'm back already," she wrote with her signature emojis, sharing more dance videos too, but not before revealing a few minor details of her trip with her fans.
"Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions," she wrote.
