Shudufhadzo Musida was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 on 24 November. One month into her reign, we find out more about the 24-year-old's childhood, growing up in a small Limpopo village, the adversities that shaped her and bagging a pageant title on the first try. 

Speaking about her pre-adolescent years growing up in Ha-Masia, a small village in Limpopo, Shudufhadzo's face lights up with joy. "It was so great because it felt so wholesome. Every single day was just a new game playing with my friends."
