Kanye West is "struggling" with his bipolar disorder amid his bid to run for president.
A source close to the rapper told People: "Kanye has been doing well for a long time. In the past, he has suffered both manic and depressive episodes related to his bipolar disorder. Right now, he is struggling again."
The news comes shortly after Kanye announced his plans to run for president and his controversial interview with Forbes detailing his campaign.
Since, Elon Musk, who endorsed the rapper, has pulled his support, reports NME. "We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated," he responded to fans questioning his decision on Twitter.
The insider also shared with People that Kim Kardashian is "concerned" about her husband. "Kim is concerned, as well as her whole family," they said. "It's super stressful for Kim, because Kanye's behaviour is very unpredictable. She is worried.
"The episodes usually last for a few weeks and then things go back to normal. Kim hopes it will be the same this time."
