In an interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Megan Thee Stallion will address the alleged shooting involving rapper Tory Lanez.
The rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, has accused Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, of shooting her in the foot. He is facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, concealed gun in a vehicle and is currently on bail. Lanez has denied the charges.
In a trailer for her first television interview about the incident set to air on Monday in the US, the 27-year-old recalled the night's events.
"It was an argument because I was ready to go, and everybody else wasn't ready to go. But that's, like, normal friend stuff.
"So I get out of the car, and it's like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming. And he said, 'Dance, bitch.' And he started shooting. Like, he shot a couple of times. And I was so scared."
She added: "I was really scared because I had never been shot at before."
