Uzalo actor Gugu Gumede is a mom!

Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old revealed that she welcomed her first child a month ago.

"My daughter, may the heavens pave a way for your greatness, and may they always go to war on your behalf. You are so dearly loved!" she captioned a video highlighting her pregnancy journey. 

"Come to me correct y'all, I'm someone's mother," she added.  

Previously speaking to TRUELOVE, Gumede said that she was very excited when she found out about her pregnancy.

"My partner and I had been trying for a child, and we were very lucky to conceive on our first try," she revealed.
