- Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow are the latest stars to appear on Variety's Actors on Actors series.
- The famous friends spoke about everything from The Morning Show and Space Force to Friends, even sharing a few scenes from the 90s sitcom that still has them roaring with laughter.
- Both admitted they spend "hours" watching bloopers of the show, with Jennifer mentioning the episode where Ross (David Shwimmer) learns how to play the bagpipes as one of her favourites.
Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow just had a mini-reunion before their upcoming special.
All six cast members of the hit 90s sitcom are expected to return to the small screen for an "exclusive untitled unscripted" special on HBO Max. Production was supposed to have started already, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, before being delayed once more until they are able to have a live audience. They are now hoping to start shooting in August.
In the meantime, Variety managed to get The Morning Show star and the Space Force actor together via video call for them to chat about everything from their latest TV roles to the show that catapulted their careers, along with that of David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry. Of course, the two stars spoke about their love for Friends, which they still watch, as well as the bloopers that always make them laugh along with many other fans of the show.
"I was with Courteney [Cox], and we were trying to find something to reference – an old Friends thing – and then we stumbled on bloopers," Jennifer tells Lisa during their chat. "We sat there, at the computer, like two nerds, watching these bloopers and laughing at ourselves," she said.
"I've done it too," Lisa laughs, saying she's spent "hours" watching the cast's outtakes.
