Vittone found love with Dr Serrurier after they met on a blind date at a Greek restaurant in Johannesburg last year.
Speaking to Jacaranda FM's Martin Bester, Vittone said Dr Serrurier "has a lot of empathy, and he is a perfectionist".
"He is a fantastic person and my best friend," she added.
According to The South African, Dr Serrurier is also a widower after his wife died in early 2022. Per his website, he is "an avid family man" and "the father of two boys".
The couple embarked on an extensive European trip earlier this month, but not without Vittone sparking wedding speculation with photos of herself wearing a ring on her left finger.
Shutting down engagement rumours in the comments section of a photo on Instagram in which she is showing off a fresh mani-pedi, Vittone said it was a "love ring".
In a 2020 interview with YOU, Vittone opened up about finding love again.
"I miss that type of love," she said at the time. "Touching, hugging and kissing, to watch a movie together on the couch."
She added that she hadn't met anyone yet "who's knocked me off my feet" and was looking for "someone with a heart of gold, who'll treat me like a woman. A man like my dad".
