Chris Hemsworth is reminiscing about his recent family trip to Kenya.

The Thor actor shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday, proving that even when he is on holiday, he makes time to work out.

"Fun little improvised training session in Kenya," Hemsworth wrote in the caption, adding a shout-out to his son "for the handy camera work".

In the clip, Hemsworth can be seen doing laps in the bush, using a log for some shoulder presses and using the game vehicle to work on his triceps.

Hemsworth spent time in Kenya with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three kids – 10-year-old India and 8-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha – earlier this year.

"One of the most memorable trips to Kenya my family and I have ever had," the Avengers actor wrote in a previous post.

In an interview with News24, Hemsworth spoke about the importance of a work-life balance after filming the Nat Geo series Limitless.

"A real urgency and a front-footed attack-mode approach to things have gotten me to where I am today. Now it's about finding the balance and going, 'Oh, okay, you've arrived at so many places that were distant dreams,'" he said.

"Am I going to appreciate these moments, or am I very quickly going to have something else ahead of me that I'm chasing and miss what's right in front of me?"
