Craig David is in South Africa and is trying out some local sweet treats.

During a live chat on Kfm 94.5's #TheFlashDrive with Carl Wastie, the singer tried a South African favourite, the koesister.

The Cape Malay koesister is a glorious deep-fried doughnut-like delicacy, drenched in a sticky, sweet syrup and tossed in coconut, best enjoyed with a hot cup of tea or coffee on a Sunday morning.

After tasting the local sweet treat, David said: "Very nice, that. I really do like that."

The singer is in South Africa for a special performance of his popular TS5 show on Thursday, 8 December 2022, at Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town.
