Portia de Rossi surprised wife Ellen DeGeneres, who she first married in 2008, with a vow renewal ceremony.

The actor wore the same Mark Posen dress she wore for the couple's wedding and had her hair pulled back. Ellen, under the guise they were just celebrating de Rossi's 50th, was in a khaki pants and casual jacket, stunned when her wife walked out in front of family and friends.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston were among those who attended the ceremony, while Brandi Carlile performed and Kris Jenner officiated, per People.

"You don't have to say anything at all, but when I was thinking about what would make my birthday really special, apart from being with family and friends, it was reminding you that you're the most important thing in the world to me."

"I was thinking about my life, my accomplishments - you do when you have a big birthday - and it just all kept leading back to you, and I thought what greater accomplishment can I ever ever have in my life than being loved by someone who is so magnificent, by someone as incredible as you."
