Directed by Justin Lin, the ensemble cast Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron are all expected to reprise their roles.
Last year Vin made a public plea to Dwayne Johnson to reprise his roles as Luke Hobbs. The pair have had a longstanding feud since the filming of The Fate of the Furious.
The Baywatch actor reiterated that he would not return and accused Vin of "manipulation."
