Janelle Monae finds herself trapped in a time-travelling hell as she becomes a slave in the trailer for Antebellum.

In the movie from the producers of Get Out, Janelle plays Veronica Henley, an author who finds herself working as a slave in the Antebellum South.

According to the synopsis she has to, 'find a way to break free from the horrors at home.'

The 1-minute clips start out with beautiful family scenes of Veronica and her family with the words: "There are precious things that can never be lost family, happiness, hope unless you are chosen."

Things suddenly turn dark, and we see Veronica transported to another time, and a fight to get her life back begins.
