Singer and songwriter Nomcebo Zikode is ready to head to the US for the 65th Grammy Awards.
Zikode, alongside Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman, is nominated for Best Global Music Performance in the Global Music category. They are nominated for their single, Bayethe.
The awards take place on 5 February in Los Angeles.

"It feels so surreal that we're nominated now at the premiere music awards in the world, and we are really in contention for a Grammy award," she says in a press statement. "I'm so grateful to my team at IMG Africa and everyone that's helped us to this point over the years. It's taken a lot of hard work and commitment to our craft for us to get here. The crazy part is we have so much else planned over the next year."
Earlier in the week, the Grammy Museum announced that Zikode would perform with Zakes Bantwini at the famed museum.
