GALLERY: A look at all the photos from Princess Sophie and Prince Ludwig of Bavaria's royal wedding.
Prince Ludwig of Bavaria married Sophie-Alexandra Evekink on Saturday at the Theatiner Church in Munich, Germany.
Prince Ludwig is the great-great-grandson of King Ludwig III, the last King of Bavaria, and in line as future head of the Bavarian family.
Sophie-Alexandra Evekink, who goes by Princess Sophie now, is a Dutch/Canadian citizen who teaches at Oxford University and is currently doing research for her doctorate.
Princess Sophie stunned in a Reem Acra gown featuring a swooping neckline, sheer lace sleeves and voluminous A-line skirt, complete with a veil designed by the Ukrainian brand WONA, in photos shared in the days following the couple's ceremony.
News also broke, however, that Sophie "fainted" during the couple's vows.
"The groom caught her," German publication Bild reported, however, and the couple soon made their way out of the centuries-old church.

They shared their first kiss as husband and wife before the public. Crowds and crowds of people lined the streets on Odeonsplatz, celebrating the royal couple.
Later, Prince Ludwig and his new bride arrived at their reception, hosted by Prince Ludwig's cousin Duke Franz of Bavaria, at Nymphenburg Palace in a vintage 1950s BMW prototype automobile.
Some 1000 guests are expected to have attended the weekend's celebrations, including Luxembourg royal Prince Louis, while it was called "the biggest German royal event of the year", per Vanity Fair.
According to the publication, the couple has also been given the nickname: "The German Kate and William."
