From Sunday, S3 (formerly SABC 3) viewers will be treated to performances from South Africa's finest talent when the channel launches its newest live concert show, Telkom Monate Vibes.
Per a press statement: "Viewers can expect performances as we travel through time".
The show features performances from Trompies, Musa, Kamo Mphela, Simphiwe Dana and Pabi Cooper.
When the show kicks off at 18:00 on Sunday, I Deserve hitmaker Donald Moatshe sets the tone of what viewers can look forward to. In the next show, viewers will see a performance by the legendary kwaito group Trompies.
In the third and fourth shows of Telkom Monate Vibes, hosted by Bontle Modiselle, Idols SA season 9 winner Musa Sukwene and hip-hop star Blxkie perform.
Episodes during the festive season, beginning in December, kick off with Kamo Mphela, Aymos and Simphiwe Dana in the fifth and sixth episodes. Pabi Cooper and Toss bring back the hype in the seventh episode on the Day of Reconciliation.
Ntando and Mafikizolo bring the show to an end in the eighth and ninth episodes on Christmas and New Years' day, respectively.
