Fan favourite characters Karabo Moroka (Connie Ferguson) and Tau Mogale (Rapulana Seiphemo) will again reunite as they make a return to SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy next month.
"Viewers can expect all the class, charm and poise that these two have brought to the roles of Tau and Karabo," a press statement read.
"It promises to be an epic month, with the drama of the show demanding the intervention of two important characters. As part of the larger Generations: The Legacy family, we can assure viewers that this is by no means [the] last or least that we'll see of the two."
Most recently, the pair starred as sworn enemies turned lovers Harriet Khoza and Hector Sebata in Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) telenovela The Queen. The show ended its seventh and final season in January.
In June 2016, TimesLIVE reported Ferguson's exit from the long-running show. According to the report, the veteran actor announced her exit from the show months earlier, in April.
"Karabo Moroka will forever be etched in our viewers' memories," Generations spokesperson Gaaratwe Mokhethi told TMG Entertainment. "It was Connie's skill and talent that truthfully told Karabo's story, and for that, we'll eternally be grateful to her."
