You can already experience Netflix in crystal clear 4K HDR video resolution, and now the video streaming giant is ready to level up.
Netflix on Thursday announced a hot new feature at no additional cost for its Premium plan members.
Viewers can now experience spatial audio when watching their favourite shows or films.
This high-quality sound experience makes it feel like you're in a cinema, with no additional equipment required.
More than 700 of Netflix's top titles (including Stranger Things, The Watcher, Wednesday, and Knives Out: Glass Onion) can now be watched with the immersive sound experience.
"This truly magical sound experience is a game changer for the Premium plan viewing experience, and we’re excited to add this capability to other features we already support like 4K, HDR, Dolby Atmos, and Netflix Calibrated Mode," Rishu Arora, director of product management at Netflix, said in a statement to the press.
Look out for a new spatial audio badge on shows and movies, or just type "spatial audio" into the search bar on Netflix to find shows and movies with the new enhanced feature.

With people more connected than ever through multiple devices, Netflix learned through research that members would like the option to download series and films to watch offline on more devices, particularly as they travel and switch between devices. That's why they're increasing the number of download devices from four to six for premium members, so you can watch Netflix on your devices — anytime, anywhere.
