RHONairobi premieres on the streaming platform on 23 February, with new episodes every Thursday after that.
It stars serial entrepreneur Susan Kaittany, media personality and entrepreneur Vera Sidika, luxury influencer, fashion collector and entrepreneur Sonal Maherali, actor and entrepreneur Minnie Kariuki, interior designer, author, and business owner, rally driver and luxury safari curator Lisa Christoffersen.
"Each of the ladies has a strong personality and sure identity of themselves," Showmax's content specialist in East Africa, Denise Mwende, said in a press statement. "They are hardworking, affluent, influential and unapologetic women who are not ashamed to live largely and live well because they have earned it. They're also a representation of diverse communities we have in Kenya."
Meet the Real Housewives of Nairobi:
The serial entrepreneur and owner of luxury fragrance and skincare shop Posh Palace Hair Studio is a mother of two. She left her law profession to pursue modelling and travelling before she ventured into lifestyle and beauty entrepreneurship.
Married to singer Brown Mauzo, Sidika is one of the country's most talked about celebrities who recently expanded her talents to music alongside her entrepreneurial ventures in the spa and herbal industries. She is a mother to a daughter and has one more child on the way.
The mental health awareness advocate established her niche through luxury vlogging in 2010 and went on to found Simba Maharani – a luxury clothing and show line. She is a mother of four.
Married to Jaguar's former manager and businessman Charles Muigai, Kariuki is the youngest of the housewives. The mother of two, whom she shares with her husband, stars in Showmax's original drama series Single Kiasi and is described as bold and unapologetic about who she is.
She is the founder of Lioness Rally, Kenya's first women-only rally team, and Lifestyle Nairobi, an artisanal space in Nairobi's diplomatic hub of Gigiri, which features an art gallery, restaurants, a spa, organic shops and fashion houses.
