Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike stars in Amazon's epic fantasy series, The Wheel of Time, based on the novels by Robert Jordan.
"Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organisation called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity," reads the official synopsis.

In a Twitter Q&A, the 42-year-old shared what it was like working on the fantasy project compared to her other work.
"The biggest, most important challenge with fantasy is making the stakes your own, making the concepts and ideas that are so outside our own experience feel real and immediate," said the Gone Girl actor.
On what it was like seeing her character's full powers on-screen, she added: "I felt like a badass. I said to [showrunner Rafe Judkins] when I first saw it, 'I need this video of me shooting fireballs to show to my sons again, and again.'"
The first three episodes of season one will premiere Friday, 19 November, with new episodes available each Friday following, leading up to the season finale on 24 December.
