When riders imagine that dream wheelset, it must be carbon.

Road riders and mountain bikers are obsessed with carbon fibre for its lightweighting benefits. But although carbon rims are fantastic, lacing them to high-friction hubs with slow engagement depreciates performance.

Hubs matter. A lot. Your hub transfers power from the drivetrain’s chain to the rear wheel. As an engineering brief, hubs are challenging. Designers need to package a lot of intricate componentry into a compact hub shell.
