Wheels were the central theme of Ken Block’s celebrated life. The American skate, snow- and motorsport entrepreneur was best known for his outrageous Gymkhana Rallycross videos, but anything with wheels piqued Block’s interest.
Block lived near some of the world’s best snow and mountain biking terrain in Utah. During winters, he would practice snowsports. Summers were the season to exchange his snowsport toys for the mountain bike and ride those same downhill trails that served as ski runs in winter.
As a father of three, mountain biking was a crucial link activity for Block and his kids to enjoy their love of wheels, speed and the outdoors. His home trails were Park City, known for some of the world’s best singletrack descents.
