The new Pivi Pro infotainment system has a self-learning navigation system that pin-points where the nearest available charge station is and will even tell the driver how much it will cost and how long it will take to charge.
The I-Pace is now fitted with an 11kW on-board charger as standard, which reduces the charge time to enjoy significantly faster charging: when connected to an 11kW wall box that adds 53km of range.
Charging from 0-100% takes only 8.6 hours. And the claimed total range is 470km.
Jaguar says using 7kW wall boxes which charge up to 35km per hour, with a full charge taking 12.75 hours.
When charging 'on the go', a 60kW charger will add up to 76km in 15 minutes, whilst a 100kW charger will add up to 127km over the same period.

The updated model, already available in Europe and set to launch in South Africa before the end of the year, has a dual-modem embedded SIM, wireless device charging, embedded Spotify, and Bluetooth for two phones simultaneously.
Also available now is a new 3D surround camera and 'ClearSight' rear-view digital mirror which turns the rear-view mirror into screen and one is able to get a feed from the camera.
On the wellness side, there's the cabin air ionisation system than uses a PM2.5 filtration to filter out fine particles and allergens.
