Earlier this week Wheels24 reported photographs of the new G22 BMW 4 Series were leaked on social media. The big talking point is its large new kidney grille design that was first seen on the Concept 4 model at the 2019 Frankfurt motor show.
The headlights are not as narrow as the concept car, and the overall profile does justice to the BMW's sleek coupe design philosophy.
Known internally as the G22, the 4 Series Coupe's engine line-up is spearheaded by a BMW M model in the shape of the new M440i xDrive Coupe.
Powered by a potent straight-six engine delivering maximum output of 275kW, it will also feature 48V mild-hybrid technology, with a 48V starter-generator and a second battery employed to both ease the load on the engine and act in unison with it, says the carmaker.
