The festive season is a time for family, friends - those we love, and of course tasty food! Festive season feasting is smothered in nostalgia and dipped in indulgence and the sweet and savoury scents that waft through our houses add comfort and a sense of joy as family favourites are whipped up in the kitchen.
Woolworths is known for their decadent and versatile Christmas range – from décor to ingredients and treats, it’s a one-stop-shop for quick festive prepping. They’ve partnered up once again with TV and radio presenter Anele Mdoda who will be joined by popular foodies on their latest cooking show - A Woolies Christmas Cook-Off with Anele to share some delicious festive dishes using the Woolworths Christmas range. Teams will face off head-to-head in three themed cooking rounds in an effort to impress Anele and walk away the winning team.
We’ll also get a closer look and some serious inspiration on how to prepare for the perfect festive season entertaining. Some of the dishes we’ve got our notebooks ready for, and are adding to our festive season menu are:
- Chocolate Wreath with Ganache, Shimmer Dust & Nuts
- Vegan Wellington and Mushroom Sauce
- Cascading Milk Tart Malva
- Turkish Chicken
