  • When planning your wedding, it is advised that you come up with rules that will ensure you peace and comfort on your big day.
  • However, these rules need to also be accommodative to your guests as many take up time to celebrate with you.
  • The notion that your wedding is a selfish day for you was created to avoid the drama that has nothing to do with you, but it is sometimes used as an excuse to be unfair with guests and family.
  • One wedding's list of rules was shared on Reddit, and it included telling guests not to wear makeup.

A wedding planner sent out unorthodox emails to confirm with everyone attending the wedding on behalf of the bride and groom.

The confirmation emails included a list of rules for the big day.

The email began with an introduction of the planner, “Good morning. My name is (planner’s name). I am the wedding coordinator for (bride and groom’s names) Sanders. I am reaching out to all confirmed guest to do a finally headcount and go over some rules and regulations of the wedding day.”

Rules and regulations:

 1. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early.

2. Please DO NOT wear white, cream or ivory.

3. Please do not wear anything other than a basic bob or ponytail.

4. Please do not fave a full face of makeup.

5. Do not record during the seramony.

7. Use (hashtag mentioned) when posting all pictures.

The email ended with the planner saying that guests should call her directly if anyone has questions or need clarification.

Redditors flooded the comment section in disbelief, with one saying, “Sooo many spelling mistakes and ‘don’t talk to the bride?’ Lol”

Another added that they would rather decline the invitation to the wedding, “I’d like to change my RSVP to a ‘Regrets’ please. Your T&C’s are too onerous, and your wedding coordinator appears to be illiterate.”
