My little health episode didn't start in lockdown, but it was diagnosed during the early part of it. My "issues" began in late 2019 - maybe even before that - but for some reason I chose to ignore what my body was telling me.

The headaches, blurry vision, constant thirst, the need to go to the toilet more times than I normally would … and the weight loss. The weight loss was one of the biggest things I couldn't understand.

Over the 2019 festive period, I lost around 10kg. But between October 2019 and May 2020, I had lost a total of 20kg.
