Research has revealed positive evidence on omega-3 fatty acids possibly helping to reduce the risk of death in patients infected with Covid-19.
There were several theories around omega-3 fatty acids and it possibly being beneficial in patients with Covid-19, but none offered conclusive scientific evidence to support any theories.
Researchers with the Fatty Acid Research Institute (FARI), along with collaborators at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, both in California, published the pilot study which shows direct evidence that higher omega-3 blood levels may reduce risk of death in patients infected with Covid-19.
