From sanitisers to social distancing to lockdowns - most governments and health officials from around the world have been promoting various methods to stem the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Some more than others.

But one of the most important measures has been the widespread use of masks, an easy-to-implement measure that’s faced incredible backlash the world over and most vocally in the US. 

Study after study has proven its effectiveness at reducing the spread of the coronavirus, who loves hitching a ride on our respiratory droplets expelled during talking and coughing. Bigger droplets with virus particles settle on surfaces, while smaller droplets travel farther, evaporate and can hang around airborne.
