JUST IN: Bob Mabena leaves Kaya FM to join MSG Afrika Group

Radio veteran Bob Mabena is leaving Kaya FM.

In a press statement released by MSG Afrika Group, Mabena has been appointed as their Group Head of Programming of their subsidiary MSG Broadcasting effective 01 May 2017.

It is stated that in his new role at MSG Broadcasting, Mabena will oversee talent and content output in the four group stations namely; Limpopo’s Hottest Frequency; Capricorn FM, Gauteng based talk radio station, POWER 98.7 and soon to be launched Rhythm FM and Beat FM in the and Eastern Cape and Free State, respectively.

He will also support individual station managers in deriving commercial value for their clients.

His radio career spans over 28 years.
