Many artists have also come out to express their disappointment at not receiving their share of the R150 million allocated to an artists’ relief fund announced by minister of sports, arts and culture Nathi Mthethwa.

The corporation is at this stage exploring more avenues to ensure that our audiences continue to enjoy the broadcast of SABC’s premium vintage programmes on alternative platforms.”

Many fans of the channel have been left feeling disappointed about the end of such an iconic channel.
