Final farewell for The Queen’s Jerry Maake

There have been a lot of changes to Mzansi Magic’s The Queen recently – multiple viewer favourites have left the show in a short space of time. Now viewers must prepare themselves for yet another change, the end of Jerry Maake (played by Shona Ferguson).

He's easily one of the most memorable and awkward characters on local TV, but after years on the small screen, Robocop will bid his final farewell.

Jerry, a police captain at Thembisa Police Station, didn’t bend when it came to locking up criminals like Harriet Khoza (played by Shona's wife Connie Ferguson).

But after four years on our screens, the character is being phased out. Although details of how he'll exit haven’t yet been shared, Mzansi Magic confirmed to Move! that his storyline will come to an end as soon season 4 concludes.
