TV personality, Tebogo Thekisho, who is better known as ProVerb, is looking quite happy these days. The charismatic and overall good guy seems to be in a very good space work wise and in his relationship with his stunning partner former Miss South Africa, Liesel Laurie, following his divorce in 2015. The rapper, who is a father to a daughter and son, is a producer and host of the popular singing competition, Idols, as well as property enthusiast.

ProVerb started off as a rapper and later ventured into TV, radio and property. In an industry filled with ups and downs and one- hit wonders, he has managed to stay relevant. He has the mindset of an entrepreneur and heart of a king, traits that have managed to secure him deals with well-known brands such as Volvo, Status Deodorant, where he was part of the Status Hustle campaign, and Land Rover SA, where he participated in the Two Icons Tour. ProVerb also juggles a career in TV and radio, having great appeal in front of the camera and behind the microphone on Kaya FM, where he presents the Top 40 show and Winners Circle. The man is an entrepreneur through and through, making sure he has a proper stake in whatever business venture he is involved with. He started his journey with Idols as a host and now he is one of the producers of the show.

The multi-talented entertainer seems to have something in common with the likes of Euphonik, Mo Flava and DJ Oskido, who all have a thing for investing in the property market.  He is in great support of his friends and black enterprise, having recently bought a new property through the help of fellow personality and owner of Black Real Estate, TT Mbha. “I didn't want the story of buying a new house out in the public. It's something I’m doing in my personal capacity and expanding my property portfolio,” says ProVerb.

Take one glimpse at ProVerb's Instagram page and you will see that he has a thing for travel. Early this year he was announced as the new nonexecutive director and board member of the travel company, Flight Centre Group. “This happened as a result of the group’s top management recognising my passion for travel,” he says. “My arrangement with Flight Centre is to bring together two different worlds of travel and entertainment. This is my involvement with tourism.”
