What do I do if I subscribed but still can’t access subscriber content?

If you have successfully subscribed but are unable to access subscriber stories or features, please send us an email at subs@news24.com or phone us at 087 353 1295 and our consultants will look into resolving the problem.

What do I do if I see a spinning wheel on the subscription page?

This is the system loading and it may take a while. Please be patient and give it a few moments to process. If it doesn't process, it could be that your web browser is blocking cookies. Make sure your browser allows cookies for News24 to continue with the subscription process.

I’ve been asked to give a password, but I’ve never created a password. What do I do?

You need to click on the 'reset password' link on the sign-in page in order to create your password. You will receive an email with a link. Click on this link to start the 'create password' process. 

What if I did not receive a 'reset password' email?

There could be various reasons for this. Make sure you entered the correct email address and that you didn't make any typos when you entered your email address. Alternatively, your server's firewall could be blocking the News24 email. Please check your spam or junkmail folder.

What do I do if I accidentally subscribed with the wrong email address?

Please send us an email at subs@news24.com or phone us at 087 353 1295 so that our consultants can assist you with correcting your email address.

I get an error message when I try to subscribe. What do I do?

If you get an error message, try clearing your browser's cache or unblocking your cookies. If this does not work, please send us an email at subs@news24.com or phone us at 087 353 1295 and our consultants will look into resolving your issue.

I don't see any subscriber articles in my News24 app.

If you don't see any subscriber content or an option to subscribe in your app, your version of the app does not support subscription content. Please update your app to the latest version for free in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and subscribe to News24. Alternatively, visit us on our mobile site at www.news24.com

Why am I signed in with a strange Apple email address?

When you sign in to your News24 profile using the "Sign in with Apple" option and you choose Apple's "Hide my email address" privacy setting, Apple will generate a special email address for you. So rather than your email address being john.doe@icloud.com, your email address will be displayed as something like dpdcnf87nu@privaterelay.appleid.com. This has no implications for your News24 profile and you will still receive all News24 emails to your usual email address, as Apple will forward them for you.
