EXPLAINER | Where are all of SA’s Covid-19 vaccine doses coming from?

President Cyril Ramaphosa and Deputy President David Mabuza will receive the first consignment of the AstraZeneca-Oxford Covid-19 vaccine from the Serum Institute of India on Monday afternoon.

This marks the arrival of the first Covid-19 vaccine doses in the country, aside from the earlier vaccine trials, and the first injections are expected to start within two weeks.
