HHP loves his dogs.

“I speak to them in Setswana and they speak back to me in dog,” Jabulani Tsambo, better known as hip-hop artist Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP), told City Press yesterday.

HHP was surprised to hear President Jacob Zuma’s statements that walking dogs and taking them to the vet was unAfrican.

HHP doesn’t get Puleng and Pulentjie’s nails done, but he still adores them.

“I’ve always thought dogs was a black thing. I love my dogs. I grew up with dogs. They are a man’s best friend.”

For HHP, 2013 is a year of new beginnings and forgiveness.

“Forgive yourself. Forgive your neighbours. And down with the e-tolls!” he quipped.
