I am ashamed to be a South African

It is disgusting and embarrassing to see how things are going in our beloved country.

When I look at the leadership of the governing party, I see things falling apart and how no one seems to care about the country and its reputation.

I have identified the following as contributing factors:

.?President Jacob Zuma doesn’t care about the future of the country he once championed. He wants to silence those who criticise him.

.?I heard one of the ministers commenting about the Western Cape and the manner in which the DA is not delivering services equally to all the citizens of the province.

My question? Before the DA took over, that province was led by the ANC, and they did nothing to change the lives of Western Cape citizens.

.?Young people in this country no longer have confidence in the current leaders, because they are not doing what they promised to do when we voted them into power.

.?Parliament has become a mockery in the presence of leaders who don’t possess the vision to move this country forward.

What happened in Parliament last week was disgusting and outrageous. Our leaders should wake up and smell the coffee. The state of the country is not impressive. Anyone can see that.

We have lost direction because of our greedy and corrupt leaders.
