Judgment against the man accused of raping and killing three Diepsloot children will be delivered in the North Gauteng High Court today.
Ntokozo Hadebe has denied raping and murdering five-year-old Anelisa Mkhonto in September last year, and two-year-old Yonalisa Mali and her cousin Zandile (3) in October last year.
He is accused of kidnapping the girls and taking them to his shack in Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg, where he allegedly raped, sodomised and suffocated or strangled them. He allegedly dumped Anelisa’s body in rubbish bin and the bodies of the cousins in a public toilet.
Yonalisa was still in nappies at the time of her death.
Hadebe denied ever living in Diepsloot, or that the shack where the children were murdered was his. He denied that a suitcase containing the blood of Anelisa and Zandile, and a shoe containing Yonalisa’s blood, were found in his shack.
The state has asked for Hadebe’s conviction on three charges of murder, three of kidnapping and six of rape.
