A man accused of murdering a taxi driver in a road rage incident in the city has appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court.
David Dingaan (54) was arrested on Monday and appeared in court today.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Fikiswa Matoti said Dingaan allegedly had an argument with the deceased at an intersection.
He said the incident happened at approximately 8:30pm on January 15.
The accused allegedly followed the deceased after the altercation and shot him about 300 metres from the intersection.
The case was postponed to January 30 for a formal bail application.
