American car manufacturer Chevrolet has expanded its Spark range and injected it with a whole lot of style to give it some life.
The Spark Lite is the entry level model in the range and the new 1.2-litre Spark is a step up.
Pushing out 60kW of power and 108Nm of torque, it is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
And if you thought smaller cars were not safe, you’ll be glad to know that the roof structure of the Spark was designed to withstand four times its own weight in the event of a roll during an accident.
The L entry level model includes standard features usually found in higher-spec models such as power steering, air conditioning, dual airbags and a radio/CD player with MP3 compatibility.
The Spark is available in eight funky colours – Olympic white, super red, carbon flash, switchblade silver, green cocktail, moroccan blue, ice teal and misty lake.
The Spark L is priced at R115 495.
