It's a pipe dream for John Steenhuisen if he thinks the ANC will retain Cyril Ramaphosa as party leader and president if it drops below 50% in the next general elections. Instead of coalition talks, the DA should focus on developing an alternative agenda to the ANC's, writes Mbhazima Shilowa.

The DA needs to go back to the drawing board, develop an alternative agenda to the ANC's and present it to the electorate in the hope that it will be accepted.
