Pretoria - Patriotic Alliance leader and controversial businessman Gayton Mckenzie has vowed to disrupt the ANC's and the DA's campaign events in all coloured areas ahead of the August local elections.

"We are going to fight for our people. Danny Jordaan is next. Jordaan is going to know us next week when he gives that speech. The DA will feel us. Anybody that stands in front of us will feel our wrath," he told journalists on Wednesday.

Mckenzie said he was tired of seeing coloured people suffer. He said the coloured community were marginalised by government.

"Number one when it comes to alcohol syndrome is coloured people. Number one in prison is coloured people. Genoeg is genoeg [enough is enough]. We are breaking this curse.

"‎We are going to make war for them. These coloureds that are part of the DA, it's time to leave these [Judases]. There is no time for Judas,‎" he said.

‎Minutes earlier PA members had disrupted a DA meeting threatening to kill its former party leader Helen Zille.

Zille was introducing Tshwane mayoral candidate Solly Msimanga.

While delivering her speech, several members of the PA forced their way into the hall.

PA members had booked a hall adjacent to that of the DA.
