Being a South African, it’s important for me to see what progress, if any, is being made in SA. Don’t tell me I go to News24 because I’m homesick or am jealous of not living there! You guys live in a gutter in comparison.
I stay up the road from you in Windhoek and what a great place to live! Although we share a border, you guys are far away from us in terms of quality of life. Isn’t life all about quality of life?
You need to ask yourselves why it is so different here. Why do we all get along here?
We have crime but its petty crime and not even close in comparison. Yes, we do get the odd violent crime but I can assure it’s not racially driven like our esteemed neighbours.
Our towns are clean and our traffic is a breeze. We pay less tax than you and get better value for our money.
Don’t get me wrong, we have our problems but nowhere close in comparison to SA.
We might not have the fancy restaurants, golf courses and night clubs, but what we do have is quality of life second to none and the smell of a braai every night!
Need I say more?
