BBC Earth (DStv 184) will be airing a new five-part docuseries, A Perfect Planet, in South Africa from 14 February 2021.
Presented by the iconic Sir David Attenborough the series takes a closer look at the natural history and earth science that explains how our living planet operates.
Filmed over four years in 31 countries, including SA, the series will show how the forces of nature drive, shape, and support Earth’s great diversity of wildlife.
The first four episodes explore the power of volcanoes, sunlight, weather, and oceans. The fifth episode looks at the dramatic impact of the world’s newest force of nature: humans - and what can be done to restore our planet’s perfect balance. The final episode provides insight into how this extraordinary series was created.
