As many countries worldwide still await for Covid-19 vaccines to help defeat the pandemic, some countries have already rolled out their vaccination drives and are starting to evaluate its effect by looking at case and hospitalisation numbers.
Israel kicked off the world's fastest vaccination programme, with nearly 45 vaccination doses per 100 people as of 26 January. And preliminary data indicates that inoculated individuals are about one-third less likely to test positive for SARS-CoV-2 than those who had not received a shot.
