The first race is a pupils’ race for school teams and commences at 8am. Entry is R50 per pupil.

The best school wins R2 000.

The second race is at 12.30pm and is a group race for corporate or family teams.

Entry is R600 per team, or R150 per member, with
R1 000 in prize money for the winning team.

The main race (third race) at 2.30pm is an individual race with timekeeping for the first 100 athletes by Roag (www.roag.co.za). Entry is R150 per person.

Professional sports massages are available to participants afterwards.

The male and female winners in the U18 race will receive R500 each.

Main race entrants will receive R500 for a third place in the male and female race, R1 000 for second place in the male and female race and R2 000 for the winners in the male and female races.

Supporters are invited to

“The initiative is to uplift the community, create employment for the unemployed and to raise money for a good cause.

“Both Faron Mae Fisher, who
suffers from Glycoge Storage Disease, and Jordon Barber who recently suffered kidney failure, will receive donations towards their medical costs,” said organiser Mark Barber.
